Hi VJ Family Members,

Since we have our MNL case # and NVC letter,my fiancee and I will the risk to continue our appointment on June 13, 2013. I have listed few questions for clarification.

1. Do i need to wait the Packet #3 which according to NVC the USEM have already sent last May 29, 2013, or go with the date for interview? On this, i dont have any assurance on how to track the packet if they have sent it accordingly.

2. Normally what is the expiration for the Visa payment? If we reschedule it, does it take long to do so?

3. Is it sufficient to have the NVC and appointment letter for the medical in order not to be denied with the medical?

4. For the medical, is it compulsary to have the vaccination immediately or they will make an separate appointment for it?

5. How and where can i obtain the form provided by SLEC? Can i have also a copy for the next step of AOS?

Thank you... Waiitng for your advise.

I dont understand what is packet 4? according to my fiancee, the NVC confirmed that the embassy sent the packet 3 on May 29, 2013. I have already paid the visa fee, and my concern is a waste of money because i think there is an expiration for the visa payment. Thanks.

1. You don't need to wait for a "packet" from the U.S. Embassy Manila. The "packet" they sometimes send to the beneficiary is simply a letter informing the beneficiary that they are eligible to schedule an interview appointment, and the letter gives the beneficiary instructions on how to prepare for the interview. Many beneficiaries never receive the letter, so don't wait around for it. You did the right thing in paying the visa fee and scheduling your interview appointment. If you want to read the letter, click here: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/19452/public/Revised%20K1%20Instruction_rtf2_005.pdf

2. I don't know how long the visa payment is valid, but you don't need to reschedule.

3. For admittance into St. Lukes for your medical, you will be fine with your USEM appointment confirmation letter and your NVC letter. Either one will be fine, but copies of both will work too. Read about the other requirements on the St. Lukes website.

4. Normally, vaccinations are given on the second day of the medical. If St. Lukes is not busy on the first day of your medical, you possibly could complete your vaccinations on the first day.

5. St. Lukes' registration form is on their website: http://www.slec.ph/# Click "Online Registration" on the left side of the screen.
