I have a wife from the Philippines, we have been married for 19 months and have a 9 month old beautiful baby girl which was born in Kuwait.

We got married in Kuwait where I was a civilian contractor working for the U.S. Army.

I'm interested in getting my wife a visa so that she can come join me in the U.S. ASAP since we have the baby.

My question is what forms do i need to file in order to expedite this process? I have to go back to the U.S. and do not want to leave my wife and baby in a third country (Kuwait).

Wife (Philippines citizen)

Husband (U.S.Citizen)

Daughter (U.S. / Philippines Citizen)

I have filled out the following forms;

I-130 is complete and I have no questions.

G-325, on the G-325 I filled out 1 for my wife and 1 for myself but I have questions on hers, It is my understanding I am the applicant and she is the beneficiary so on my wife's do I write down my addresses for the last 5 years or hers?

Also do I sign it or does she signs it?

Are there any other forms I need to file that would help expediting her visa?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

**Organizer hat off**

Have you completed a Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) for your baby and gotten her a US Passport?

I would suggest reading the instructions for the form I-130, that is the main form you need to compelte to start the visa process. I also suggest you read this VJ guide: http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1

while we are all not interested in being apart from our spouses, there are very few options. you can hasten the process by filing from abroad, but seeing that you are moving back to the states, that might not be possible. total process turnaround time will be over 6 months easy if you do not file from abroad. You will also need to research how she will be interviewed. As I understand it she will have to be interviewed in her home country, but I will leave that for someone else to answer

I already did the CRBA for my daughter and she has her U.S. passport.

my main question now is on the form G-325 for my wife

On the top of the form i have entered her information, next section says APPLICANT'S RESIDENCE LAST 5 YEARS......Do I enter her information or mine since I am the one applying for her visa? Also on APPLICANTS EMPLOYMENT LAST 5 YEARS ONCE AGAIN is it my info or hers that they want?

You need to fill one G-325 for you and one for your wife...

For your wife's G325a she is the "applicant" and the form is completed with HER information.

For your G325A you are the "applicant" and the form is completed with YOUR information.

you sign yours

she signs hers
