On the bright side, after tomorrow there are no more holidays for them until Memorial Day in late May. Hope they start cranking through petitions!

Lets hope so, they need to start speeding up not slowing down if they really have any chance to even bring their processing times down, let alone hit 5 months...

... To be fair (don't shoot me down here anyone) we are seeing a rapid response to approvals in August....!

Congrats for that. None of us wants to see anyone suffering through long waits and uncertainty. Unfortunately the majority of June transfers have not been so lucky, and there are a lot of people here feeling left behind. Only 38% of our transfers have been approved since mid-December.

I know. Everybody who's still waiting from the beginning of 2013 to June really got (to use a Canadianism) hosed by this method USCIS seems to be using to get itself dug out of the hole.

They've got one or two office(s) that're getting through their backlog reasonably quickly, so instead of re-transferring the older files to them, they're getting them to work ahead on new files from NBC. It's actually an efficient method of clearing the backlog, if you're just looking at numbers. The trouble is that all those numbers have people attached to them.

The most efficient method isn't at all the most humane. Even those of us (and I include myself in this category, since it seems at this rate that I'll be approved (from October) before they finish up with June) who are benefitting from this cluster**** have a huge amount of sympathy for the people who've been left behind.

I hope the situation improves sooner rather than later, and we all get approved SOON!

Is your timeline updated?

I did not realise it was that bad for June, it's just the most unfair, crazy, broken and miss-managed system

I have ever used!

I honestly do not think that will help. I saw on USCIS the other day that NSC is processing I-130s from March (officially). I think they would just tell you they are not past your priority date yet and to expect an answer in 60/90/180 days.

If you still give them a call, good luck. Let us know what they say.

I have given up hope on this petition. Whenever someone replies, I will be very surprised. :D It would be interesting if they declined it, that would make my hubby move here. devil.gif

Yes, but I honestly don't think we can do anything. I don't think even senators or congressmen would help. But they might be more helpful than you contacting them, so if you really want, try that.

I have some pretty realistic hopes on dates and stuff (NOA2 by mid March, send in everything to NVC by end of April), but I am trying not to hold onto them too tight.

teh 60-day notice is not even worth the value of the paper it is written on!

You'll call me they will say it is only a target not guarantee!!!!and that you have to wait another 30 to 60 more days!

I hope I'm wrong and I wish you good luck with your inquiry!!!

Nope I already tried that and they don't do anything but give updates just like uscis. As a matter of fact I told the office of mine that this is exactly why I don't vote because whenever people need help you don't do a thing. Also told them that since they aren't going to help they can withdraw their selves from my case because they are serving no purpose....
