Don't worry, I'm sure you'll hear something soon. Atlanta May filers have all gotten their interviews scheduled so you're next in line. The office seems to schedule interviews in fits and starts. There seems to be a lull at the moment, but I'm willing to bet you'll heard something within the next week. Stay positive! smile.png

I know you are right Jamericanlove, but it gets a bit depressing seeing other people becoming citizens and Atlanta filers have not even got interview letters. I did know Atlanta was really slow so it is not a surprise, I see that you are waiting for Atl too. Have you been to that office before, do you know if there is parking at the office and is it free?

It's all about consistency too, but whatever.. atleast I'll be done with USCIS in 2-3 weeks (doesn't mean I won't be active in this forum).. was trying to help others clearly you know what your doing,

I know you are right Jamericanlove, but it gets a bit depressing seeing other people becoming citizens and Atlanta filers have not even got interview letters. I did know Atlanta was really slow so it is not a surprise, I see that you are waiting for Atl too. Have you been to that office before, do you know if there is parking at the office and is it free?

I know it's hard to be patient sometimes, but think about how far you've already come. You're almost at the finish line! smile.png Stay as busy as possible and the time will just fly by. I am processing through Atlanta as well but I'm several weeks behind you. I really don't expect to hear anything further on my case until sometime in October. I feel you will VERY soon though.

I haven't been to the office but it's not too far from where I live. I do believe I read somewhere that they have free parking. I still plan to carry a few small bills and change though, just in case.

There are two filers from ATL having interviews next week (Tuesday and Thursday). Hopefully they post their experiences so we have a better idea of what to expect.

08-05-2013: NOA1 received (Priority date: 07-24-13, Check cashed: 07-29-13)
08-22-2013: Biometrics (Received: 08-06-13, Walk-in: 08-08-13)
09-03-2013: Inline for interview (Yellow letter received: 10-23-13)
11-04-2013: Interview scheduled (Received: 11-09-13)
12-12-2013: Interview (Approved)
01-03-2014: Oath ceremony, passport application and passport received

Your time is coming very soon! It will be a happy day, wont it?

I know some people move along a little faster than others, which can be frustrating, but yours will be the joy soon. smile.png

And dont look at my timeline, anybody, because it is not typical. The only reason we moved along fast is because my wife (the immigrant) is in the military too, and it goes faster for someone like that. They expedited hers because she will be leaving soon in the military.

Hey guys

I received a yellow letter yesterday,about two weeks after getting the white interview letter.Not sure what to make of that now that I am starting to get freaked out by the upcoming interview

I have applied on the basis of marriage to a US citizen ( married now for twelve wonderful years ) but between February and May of this year I commuted between Southern California and our home ner San Francisco ( where wife and child stayed ) because a/ I couldn't postpone the start date and b/ we didn't want to take our son out of his charter school in the middle of the school year; we're now all reunited and loving our new neighborhood :)

Do you see that being an issue during the interview?

This forum is for naturalization not AOS. but to answer your question, I received my interview letter 2 weeks after EAD. interview was a month after EAD and green card in my hand 5 weeks after EAD.

Got the letter....got the letter...phew!!dancin5hr.gif The call that I made last Friday worked and the lady said she is re-sending the letters....just received ! Also, the interview date is September 17 and not 16 as I originally thought. Please update the timeline. Me and my husband are schedules half an hour apart from each other.
