is he paid every 2 weeks or every week or once a month?

For example if you make $10/hr and work 40 hours per week you make $400/week X 52 weeks in a year if you recieve paid vacation time = $20,800

He got paid every week. I am now clear on your explaination.

Thank you so much, Niki.

If your husband is paid $10 per hour, his weekly income will be $10X40 = $400. Then his annual income will be $400X52 = $20,800.

Also, u may want to consider the I-864EZ if you meet all the following (Much simpler form):

1. Your husband is the petitiner; AND

2. He is using only his income, and he is not self employed. In other words, his income is shown on W-2(S); AND

3. You are the only person being sponsored on the AOS.

Crazy how long everything is taking. It took like a week for the AOS bill to be generated then like 4 days for it to show as paid. Glad my friends 3032 was accepted in a couple of days. If not I would think he would have had to wait about 3 weeks before the IV bill.

We are just going along, slower than what I was used to with my run through NVC, but still doing good time.

We are planning on sending the old version of the AOS today. Hope it gets accepted without any issues.

anybody have any experience getting through nvc without the police clearance?

my wife was given the option of having it sent directly to nvc or the embassy

if it is sent direct to nvc I am worried about it getting matched up because they wont have the bar code sheet. also if it gets mailed from Fiji, it will take over a month to get here from original request to nvc receipt.

she is trying to get a certified copy but does not have an answer on that yet

any feedback is appreciated

I'd be careful about sending the old form. According to USCIS's website, the old editions are only valid until June 23rd, so this Sunday. If NVC receives them after the 23rd, then a checklist may be issued for the new form. At this point, it might be safer to send in the new form. NVC began reviewing them last week I believe.

[...]

Send a letter with the IV package requesting that the case be closed without the original PCC as it'll be sent directly to the embassy before the interview. If she can though, it'd be good if she can get a certified copy and send that along with the request.

Um, you're always supposed to sign forms (not just immigration forms, but ALL forms) with a pen. If he doesn't receive a checklist, I'd be completely surprised.

WHAT IN THE WORRRRLD IS THIS ABOUT?!

I copy and pasted it and under the black lines it says "you must enter your full name in this box".

Utterly confused, my husband is on hold to the NVC now. He just reviewed our I-864 and says there are no errors on these sections at all that he can see.

Hope it's a mistake!!
