Saylin/Darnell,

I have a question. I called today and was told my case is under supervisor review due to false checklist for AOS (as AOS was already in the system, but apparently checklist got created). Is this normal? I was told it could take upto 15 days for supervisor review. My AOS was sent using old form and IV seems to have been accepted.

What does this all mean?

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could provide some information. I received my NVC Case number, IIN and BIN last Monday (june 4th) and have yet to be invoiced the AOS bill or IV bill. My electronic processing email was already accepted and I've completed the DS-261 on the payment portal on Friday. When I called this morning the lady said it would take 2 - 4 weeks to get the AOS bill invoiced? Is that normal? Should I call back and speak to a supervisor or would that not help?

Thanks!

Hello everyone!

So I finally got a date interview! Last days of April I sent all the documents requested and after a few weeks they wanted me to send AGAIN the marriage certificate and the affidavit of support. Anyways long story short yesterday I got an email that says I have an interview date and tells me what documents to bring to the consulate. With my huge surprise my interview is on July 16th!! I thought I was going to get an early August interview but for once I was lucky!

I'm very excited! Finally after 1 year away from my husband, I got an interview date and I should be able to hug him in less than 2 months! YAY!

Ya, Surprisingly, I got an approval for this request of waiver. I DID SEND IN an older PCC, however. I think that's gonna be the difference between my case and yours - you don't have a PCC, can't get a PCC until you have the checklist letter requesting it.

Path went like this:

1. I assumed the old PCC would be not accepted but wrote a letter requesting waiver , telling NVC/GUZ IV we'd have it on interview day, submitted it with the IV set. So that's OLD PCC + letter requesting waiver with the IV Set.

2. Coupla weeks go by, I call into NVC and talk with a supervisor, who told me that for Guangzhou IV, they require the PCC in at NVC.

3. I panic, talk with my wife, she calls her buddy at the notary office, they get prepped for her.

4. 5 days pass, I call into NVC - to learn the casefile had been completed.

5. I call NVC 3 times yesterday, to confirm case complete.

6. I call my wife, tell her 'no delay anymore' and she revokes her promise to remove a needed body part .

so we're back on our 'schedule' of stuff and I am intact.

---

Are you Singapura Citizen? Not need the checklist letter, if so. If a resident or hold workers permit, it's totally different, you must get the checklist letter and then you must show it and then you must beg for the waiver from the SG police office for them to actually produce the PCC that SG IV accepts.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

. Im foreigner working here. I already had a checklist and requested it in Singapore Police and still 2 weeks to get it. I just want to request if they can approved. My I130 was approved a January 29,2013 And Documents are hold in USCIS with no reason and went missing. I did not request for expedite but Im hoping they can give me a waiver for that. But it was not granted. thanks Edited by luisa1625

It seems like that as if you go back in this thread, you'll see people in which their AOS packages with old forms are getting reviewed, whereas mostly everyone who sent in the new forms are still waiting.

It shouldn't take that long for the AOS bill to be invoiced. Just keep checking the payment portal as often as you want, it'll appear sooner or later.

Hey Guys,

Have a question for the USC going through the NVC steps for his wife and step-daughter. I have been helping him complete these steps, yesterday we signed on the payment portal and paid the AOS bill for his wife, in related cases we in fact saw that his step-daughters case was considered a related case. IV bill has not been invoiced, guessing its because the DS3032 hasnt been accepted.

I went in today to print the barcode page for each of them, but I just noticed that when I use the case number and invoice number for his step-daughter I get his wife's barcode sheet, is this normal?

Should I send each AOS package with his wife's barcode sheet, I also printed the page that said the cases were tied and I am planning on including that as well.

Thanks.

That is how I did it. You figure by the time it gets there and they are ready to input it into the system it will show PAID.
