Removal of Conditions - 3 months before or earlier

Hi everyone,

I got my greencard based on marriage last year in February. I am very sure the officer at the interview said to check on the work permit 1 year before the green card expires. But I cannot find anything about it, it always says it has to be 3 months before the expiration date of the green card and it is called removal of conditions. There is nothing else to do right?

Would love some answers. Thanks!!

You can apply no earlier than 90 days before "Permanent Resident Since" date on your GC. You will need to use form I-751.

Work permit?

Your work permit was cancelled when your GC got approved. The GC gives you the right to work and travel by itself. Your old EAD is nothing now.
