Our date is the same date. I call them everyday, 1-603-334-0700

I just called them and ours has not arrived yet. They tell me call after 15 days, but I call everyday anyway. They are very polite. Hope that helps.

Just got off the phone. Nothing yet. I will try again tomorrow (only 5 business days, but oh well :) Gotta love unlimited long distance....

Mine's still not there yet either, NOA2 May 17th. Getting a little ancy, but it's still well within their 10-15 business days (yes, 15 business days is like 3 weeks!) since it's technically only been 7 or 8 business days (12 calendar days), so can't be too worried yet. Just from my logs, my wait times (all times PST):

Wed 5/22 called at 14:15, on hold until 14:32 (17 min), not arrived yet
Thur 5/23 called at 16:03, on hold until 16:16 (13 min), not arrived yet
Fri 5/24 called at 15:03, on hold until 15:21 (18 min), not arrived yet
Tues 5/28 called at 13:33, on hold until 13:46 (13 min), not arrived yet
Wed 5/29 called at 14:30, on hold until 14:50 (20 min), not arrived yet
Wed 5/29 called at 18:03, on hold until 18:14 (11 min), not arrived yet
Yes I called twice today, hoping that maybe they just hadn't processed today's files the first time. Can't blame myself, after waiting so long for NOA2, that I'm a little overeager. smile.png

Where do you get that you have waited a year for NOA2? What am I missing?

05/15 to 05/29... 14 calendar days... 10 business days (or 9, maybe, depending on whether DOS counts that first day)...

Having said that, I TOTALLY feel your impatience and am going to be bonkers too by 14 calendar days :)

Our NOA2 was processed on the 15th of May and the NVC received it on the 24th and forwarded it on to the embassy on the 28th. Pretty fast IMHO, I was expecting everything to take a lot longer :-).

Lol... I get your confusion... One year of waiting! First my baby had to wait 8 months to apply for citizenship, then we had to go through that and then start the K1 process... so all this waiting has taken a year now.. and every extra day is one day too much... smile.png

And its hard to sit and watch people go through NVC in few days, when all I get that I have to wait 15 business days...

I hear that!! Try having a little guy who is growing up without you :( I missed him learning to crawl, learning to walking.... probably miss him learning to talk, since he has started already :(

So, an extra day is one day too many is way too true to be comfortable.

I was trying hard to figure out when I should expect the NVC to give me case number. Our NOA2 was approved on 15may and we got our hard copy 20may.,and i saw that some people who have the same NOA2 date already gotten their case number.

The NVC just told me that my case is "undergoing necessary additional processing. There is no timeframe for this processing".

Has anyone been through this? How long does it usually take?

You should take a look at this thread : http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/165644-stuck-nvc-for-ap/

Hard to say how long it will take, unfortunately.

Yes, thank you. I searched for K1 AP in NVC and found results for many cases, but the most current I found was from December 2012. I was hoping someone had some more recent experience with this.

AP has to do with some kind of "hit" showing um in the FBI searches, based on a name. when that happens, they start looking against other things, such as the birthdate, to verify that it's not the same person. really impossible to say how long that will take. could be a few days to a few months, depending on the number of hits, how long it will take to verify and the current workload.

Sorry I can't offer you more than that.

Just got off the phone with NVC for my first call of the day, it still hasn't been received...ranting33va.gif

Anyway, I ended up having to school the person on the phone, she suggested that since the NOA2 said it had been forwarded to the consulate, it may have been sent there. I told her that all I-129F's go through the NVC first before being sent to the consulate.

Then she went through the usual script, send the email to nvc research (I did over two weeks ago) and to wait for a response.

I swear, when this is all done, I think I'd be more qualified to work there than a lot of the people answering the phones...
