Would like to know which immunizations were required for folks who have recently (since 2010 change) immigrated to the USA? We are in the Philippines and my wife is 36. USCIS has a list of possible injections but is vague about exactly what is needed. I know it is a case-by-case thing but I would like to know about actual cases and what was needed. Thanks. We have an appointment in Manila on June 4 for a DCF, so we will start the process soon. She has had no recent vaccinations, which is my concern as I want to get a head start and not have to get 55 shots in 4 days or something like that. Thanks.

If you have records you can take them. Any immunization history may or may not affect the immunizations your wife will need. Even if immunizations have been given in the past that is no guarantee your wife won't be given those same immunizations again. Many, if not most, people going through St. Luke's get the full round of immunizations as they either have no records or the records aren't sufficient.

Don't worry, it won't be 55. There is a pretty standard set of immunizations and it's all done at the same time on the same day. The normal process, even with no medical history records, is only 2 days.

Don't worry, St. Lukes will give your wife only the usual, age-appropriate shots: Varicella, tDap, MMR, and maybe HepB. They also give a flu shot during flu season.

You might want to also post these questions in the forum for your country's location. Different countries have different requirements.
