All May 2013 AOS Filers, lets share experience to each other.



I have filed AOS based on F2A category. My priority date (Jan 7 2011) became current on May 2013. My lawyer send AOS package including (I-485,I-131, I-765 etc) on May 1st. Till now I have not got any receipt.

Do anyone have any idea how long it takes to get receipt ?

Hi losangelesgirl, did you get the NOA1 and Bio appt together in the same mail? I haven't received any Bio appt yet and our timeline is very similar.

I think it might be a mistake too. I got interview letter for AOS and with that paper (same page) there are some checklists for document that need to be brought. No neutralization or nothing. plus you

Mailed I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131 this week. Package was just delivered at the Chicago lockbox. Good luck everyone.

5/17/2013- Packet received at Chicago Lockbox

5/23/2013-Received NOAx3 emails and txt dated 05/22

5/30/2013-Received NOAx3 hardcopies in mail +biometrics appointment letter for 6/14-(Successful walk in biometrics on 5/31/2013)

6/17/2013: I-485 Case Status updated to Testing & Interview (In queue for interview scheduling)

7/9/2013 EAD/AP Approved. Email received- Card production ordered.

7/10/2013. NOA received-Interview set for August 13th.

7/15/2013. EAD/AP Card was mailed.

7/17/2013- EAD/AP combo card received.

Hey Folks

We/I just filed our I765. I had a conditional 2 yr perm residency card - which expires in August of this year. Hoping that we included enough information - and that all is right and this, "one more step'' goes smooth. I just mailed it through regular US mail - thinking now if I should have gone another rote...like registered? Good Luck all!

All my documents arrived at the Chicago Lockbox on May 2nd. Last week I received my bio appt for June 7 at the Kendall FL office. Good luck to all you :)

4/30/13 (Day 0) Packet (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131) sent to USCIS via USPS

5/02/13 (Day 2) Packet delivery confirmed

5/08/13 (Day 8) Received text messages and email NOA's for all 4 applications

5/08/13 (Day 8) Checks cashed

5/13/13 (Day 13) Received hard copy NOA's

5/16/13 (Day 16) Received Biometrics Appt Letter (Kendall FL, 6/7 @ 8:00 AM)

6/07/13 (Day 38) Biometrics Completed!

6/12/13 (Day 43) Received email: I-485 changed to Testing and Interview

7/02/13 (Day 63) Received 3 emails: EAD Card Production, Name Change on AP(?), AP Approved!

7/08/13 (Day 69) Received second EAD Card Production email

7/09/13 (Day 70) Received Interview Date email

7/09/13 (Day 70) Received "EAD has been mailed out" email

7/12/13 (Day 73) Received EAD and interview letter

8/14/13 (Day 106) Interview at 9:30 am. APPROVED ON THE SPOT!! dancin5hr.gif

8/21/13 (Day 113) Received "Welcome to the USA" letter

I sent mine via regular mail also and had no problems. Good luck!

05/24/2013......Email, Text of Receiving package on 5/20

05/28/2013.......Check cashed for K1 nothing for K2 yet

06/01/2013......Hard Copy of NOA1 received: I-465 and _I-765 Application for employment

06/02/2013.......rfe on K2 Missed a signiture

06/13/2013.......Email, Text of Receiving package after K2 rfe

06/??/2013...... Bio-metric hard-copy.

06/24/2013...... Bio-metric hard-copy.for k2

06/25/2013........Biometrics complete for k-1 and k-2 12:00 appiontment took longer getting through security.

07/09/2013.........Interview & Scheduling (Status Changed)

07/15/2013.........Interview aug 14 no cards yet.

07/19/2013......On July 19, 2013 we ordered production of your new card.i765 \ July 19, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131

07/30/2013 ......Recieved EAD in mail. nothing else.

08/08/2013 ......Recieved k2 interview for sept 6........what? he is 8.
