The purpose of a real timeline is to build up statistics data for more accurate approval estimates. So it would really help other members if more people filled theirs in.

Today, the case number next to my case number has approved. I cant do anything for the whole day, just checked my case for update, checked email and text :(. Until 7 PM, nothing happen so I know today was gone without luck :((

May 16, 2013: NOA1

Dec 12, 2013: Transfer notice (Nebraska SC)

Dec 16, 2013: NSC Received(Last Update Date)

Mar 3, 2014:(call to talk to Tier 2)service request created

Mar 12, 2014 : Received email from NSC, case pending under background check clearance

Mar 27, 2014 : Name updated relating to I-130(I never change my name)

Mar 28, 2014 : NOA2(Text/email)

Mar 31, 2014 : NOA2 Hard copy received

April 1, 2014 : Case shipped to NVC

NVC------------------

April 11, 2014 : Case received

May 3, 2014 : Got Case number/IIN

May 8, 2014 : DS-261 Completed

May 9, 2014 : AOS Invoiced and paid

May 12, 2014 : AOS status "PAID"

May 13, 2014 : AOS Package sent via UPS

May 16, 2014 : AOS Package received by NVC

May 20, 2014 : AOS Package scanned into the system

June 6, 2014 : IV Fee Invoiced and pay

So finally after such a long time my case got approved on may 17 after they requested evidence on frebuary 20 and 5 days after they recived the evidence on may 12 hope everyone oyt here already got their good news already

Well I finally called USCIS to find out the status of my petition. They put in a service request for me. I was quite surprised to see that NSC processing times state 5 months!! What the heck!! It's been much longer than that for us May filers! I hope to hear something soon. Best of luck to those who have progressed to the next step!

PD is May 14th, transferred on December 27th to Nebraska service center.

still waiting. this is crazy.

It amazes me how Nebraska put 5 months on their processing times when in fact it isn't true. I hope you both get an approval soon! Way overdue!

They say it is an "average" and not really the correct processing time, hence they continue to play the system (approving some after 2-3 months to average the 10 months to 5 months average).

It sucks really but that's how they do it!!!!
