loveisblind, I wouldnt worry about your wife being in Pakistan for "a few months" as long as she can show that shes able to support you, meaning, having a job when USCIS requests the I-864, usually the NVC will send you a request.

We have been approved.Our PD was May 28 and we transferred Nov 21.The office we were transferred to was Nebraska.They sent our case to the State Dept(?).Nevertheless Praise Jesus.Finally!!!!!

5-25-2013: Sent I-130 package

5-31-2013:Received text and email of NOA1(now waiting for Hard copy of NOA1)

6-03-2013:NOA1 Hard copy came in the mail

11-20-2013: "Transferred to another USCIS office"

1-8-2014:Received text of NOA2 and email

NVC recieved my case today!!!yay! I'm so happy and can't wait to get my case number and start this whole process! dancin5hr.gif

USCIS STAGE :

05/03/13 : I-130 Filed

05/06/13 : NOA1

11/22/13 : Case transfered to NSC

12/12/13 : NOA2

12/16/13 : Shipped to NVC

NVC STAGE :

01/08/14 : NVC recieved the case

02/06/14 : Case number assigned and IIN/BIN

02/11/14 : DS-261 Available and completed

02/12/14 : Received e-mail to pay AOS Fee

02/13/14 : AOS bill invoice available and paid

02/15/14 : AOS Mailed

02/18/14 : AOS status shows paid

02/19/14 : NVC received AOS package

02/28/14 : Received e-mail to pay IV Fee

02/28/14 : IV bill invoiced

03/03/14 : IV bill available and paid

03/06/14 : IV bill shows paid

02/28/14 : IV package sent to NVC

03/03/14/ : NVC received IV package

03/06/14 : DS-260 Available and completed

03/20/14 : Case Complete

03/27/14 : Received Official Email for Case Complete

CONSULATE STAGE :

04/03/14 : Advance Medical

05/14/14 : Interview

1.Affidavit of support need to be from person working currently in USA on date of interview.

If in foreign then file through DCF route.

2. Sponsor Spouse should show intended place of living as USA.

On interview day the officer may ask : where does your spouse work.?

And we should Always reply the truth.

I Would say Better to get in touch with attorney

well its been almost 11 months being apart after marriage .. now my wife want to come back to my country for few months . and our cases is still pending ..so if she does come back to pakistan .. will she able to show support affidavit while she will be in pakistan and now working there for few months . i mean would they accept her support of affidavit from april2013 to till feburary ? please any kinda help would be highly appriciated ?

13 June: check list : missing page 7 of i864.

25 June : scan date AOS checklist

7 Aug: Case Complete...... BIG ACCOMPLISHMENT

14 Aug: interview date assigned

16 Aug: Email interview appointment received

18 Aug: Medical completed

23 Aug: biometric done,DS260 stamped, fingerprints taken.

10 Sep: interview day; interview took 511 days from I-130 NOA1

Agree with (friendlyusa) that's the reasons I am here working in usa so i don't have any problems showing any kinda papers including sport documents for him.
