FYI guys, I just received a letter in the mail from the NVC stating they received an approved I-129F. It goes on to say that within a week of them receiving it they will forward it to the appropriate Embassy. The letter was dated August 2. That means it took 15 days from my NOA2 to get this letter. The Embassy does already have my petition and my fiancee has mailed out the Packet 3. I'm hoping to have an interview date by the end of the week, best case scenario. I wanted to pass this on so you all can have some sort of time reference once you get approved. I'm sure some will be quicker and some may take a few days longer but that's what we do here...wait. Good luck

05/02/2013 I-129f sent via USPS express from Japan

It's alright, we're similar sort of dates iirc so we're in the same boat now. We'll get there one way or the other. I'm still betting that it'll be at NVC by the end of August.
