What a real dumb question.

My response: Simple enough I want a woman that loves me enough. I don't care if she's fat, skinny, slim, whateva. Doesn't matter. Of course I have to love her too so it has to be both ways but that's what matters. Loving me not only for my looks but also for the person I am.

Now if you really want an answer, I like heavier women. I don't like the ones where you can see bones protruding. That aside, this question is null in my mind.

As my fiancé, Souljah, said "it doesn't matter". I don't have a preference. I don't go by looks, race, nationality, whatever. It's what's on the inside. I love my fiancé no matter what he looks like. When you fall in love, love sees BEYOND what's on the outside. Like someone said earlier about having a gorgeous man and he's a total jerk, I don't care if he's gorgeous, if he's a jerk I don't want him. The longer you are with (and love) someone, the more you love the outward appearance. Let me just say, when Ryan and I first got together, I loved him for who he was. He was handsome to me, and the more I got to know him, the more I fell in love with him inside AND OUT. He's gorgeous to ME and that's ALL that matters. I love my baby!

IMHO when a man (or woman) chooses a mate based on their size, that shows how shallow a person they are. There is more to a person than size. So tell me...when you began chatting (or however you two met) and you decide you really REALLY like this person, what would YOU have done if you found out this person didn't "qualify" on your list of qualifications when it came to size? Would you have dumped them? All because of size?

The question was which is preferred: fat or slim. That is indicative of how you chose your spouse, which led to my question. That was pretty clean to me.

I've always found it better to marry someone you love no matter what - if that be they put on weight, lose weight, cut their hair, go bald, go blonde, lose a limb, suffer from a debiltating disease like M.S. or become bed ridden with cancer, vomiting and crying and needing you. But hey, maybe I'm crazy. Grow up. I'm sorry if the relationships you saw didn't show you that. If your only concern about your spouse's health is wether she's thin or heavy then consider yourself lucky no matter what she looks like. Forgive me, however, if I continue to consider you shallow.

Very true. Life rarely goes exactly how we plan it. The most important thing is to love the other person for them, not their physical attributes. Sure, being attracted to them is important, but a relationship needs to be based on a lot more than merely physical attraction.
