Are you ready for a shortcut in the process? Okay, in a couple of weeks, start calling the National Visa Center (NVC) every day until they give you your MNL case number. Once you have your MNL case number, the beneficiary can pay the visa application fee at BPI and book an interview appointment. The beneficiary can also complete the medical at St. Lukes.

Don't wait for the Embassy to send you their letter because it will add another month or more to the process. Just get your MNL case number from the NVC and get going.

I appreciate this so much! I definitely will do this. I have read that some require the medical to be the same day as the interview? Is this information valid? Also, to clarify, I have to wait for the packets and letter of approval, fill it out, pay the fees (if there is any) and then send it to my fiance in the Philippines, right? Until I do that he's not allowed to be interviewed without a copy of an I129F packet and proof of ongoing relationship etc. Anyone know where I can print all the documents I need to fill out?

You don't complete the medical the same day as the interview. Normally, people complete the medical a week or two before the interview. At the very least, you should complete the medical a couple of days before the interview, but that's cutting it pretty close.

Your beneficiary does not have to wait for a packet or any letter of approval from the Embassy. Instead, you guys can shortcut the process by following the steps I listed above. However, if you want to wait for the Embassy to send him a letter via PhilPost, it will cost you guys a month or more. Instead, you can read the Embassy's letter here. The letter will give both of you instructions on how to prepare for the interview.

Your fiancé can pay the visa application fee at BPI and schedule an interview as soon as you guys get your MNL case number from the NVC. He doesn't have to wait for the Embassy's letter.

As the petitioner, one document you'll need to fill out and send to your fiancé is the I-134. You can get this form on the USCIS website here.

Tears of joy, gotta love it. We are both very happy for the two of you and I would be willing to bet my fiancee would have woken the house up with that news. All the best with Medical, Interview and CFO.
