hello guys!

im soooo confused... does anyone of you used the dhl tracking for your case?.... its been 40days we havent heard if NVC receive our papers... im CR1 case.... we got our Noa2 last march 11, 2013. i called NVC to update my status and the operator said she cannot update it because i dont have my case number yet... so she gave me the USCIS number, and same thing, they cant upadate my status unless my husband (petitioner) talk with them... so i didnt do anything but to wait... tonight i read some articles regarding tracking case in dhl?... i tried and used the reference number exactly on our 1 month, and something pop up an info regarding the shipment details... so what does the details mean?... here are some details:

Origin Service Area: BOSTON, MA - PORTSMOUTH - USA

Destination Service Area: MANILA - MANILA - PHILIPPINES, THE

hope someone can clear my mind... thanks in advance! God Bless!

As far as I know, the DHL tracking is only for cases that are being shipped from NVC to the embassies abroad, after an interview has been scheduled. If your case hasn't even made it to NVC yet, I don't believe that tracking method applies.

If you've gotten your NOA2 in the mail, you can scan it and send it as an attachment in an email to NVC, describing your situation. That's helped a few other people.

You can't track between USCIS and NVC. As oohpartiv mentioned, that is only tracking between NVC and the embassies. The example you gave is a file leaving NVC and going to Philippines. You aren't ready for that stage yet so that couldn't possibly be your file.

Many people are having this problem. You just have to keep calling NVC every few days to see if they have received your case or not. If 60 days go by, your USC spouse may want to get in contact with their local congressperson to help find out where the case is located.

Congressional staffers can request USCIS to tell them the tracking number of the box that the case file was sent in. YES, they can. They won't tell you the number, but they can use it to find out whether or when it was sent.
