I was recently told that there is a special visa for someone to help out a pregnant family member/friend. I am pretty sure that someone gave twisted news but I just wanted to make sure if anyone has heard of such a thing?

My feeling is that person was referring to making a request in the application/interview that their friend is pregnant and would like to go ASAP.

No, there is no "help a pregnant friend" visa.

If you are not from a Visa Waiver Program country then you an apply for a tourist visa.

good luck

No such visa to help out a pregnant friend. No friend visa of any kind. No special visa of any kind for pregnant people.

You cant expedite because of pregnancy either.

Wouldn't it be better to wait until after the birth of the child before arranging a holiday?

my question was about my wife's friend wanting to visit my pregnant wife in the U.S.

no special need in USCIS opinion. no "friend" may perform work on a tourist visa, including taking care fo a new mother or baby, as this would normally be a paying caretaker job.

That was not how you originally phrased it.

Is she want to visit she would use the VWP or a B2.
