We Got an RFE

Well my fiance just called me and told me to look on the website. He got a text. We have got a RFE. No idea what we didn't include but atleast they are looking at ours now

I am sorry you got an RFE but SO HAPPY that your petition has finally been looked at ... long overdue! I hope it's an easy fix!

I wonder if we'll start seeing any RFE's due to the "water damage" at CSC, of documents being unreadable or damaged. If anyone does get RFE for things like that, I hope we'll hear from them here!

Very unusual, no approvals today but I see a ton of RFE's. Perhaps CSC is working on getting their RFE numbers higher.

The hell.. I think they're just sending everyone RFE's from July just to get things going. I just got mine.

I am incredibly pissed off. I don't want take away whatever joy you guys are experiencing, but I am almost convinced that this is just an empty move to make us feel like there is progress, and that after submitting our responses to our RFEs, the waiting game will continue as if nothing had happened.

If I got an RFE due to water damage, I would demand an expidite under the grouds of a USCIS error.

Thanks, but it's not moving. We'll have to wait a week to get the RFE, assemble the evidence, send it back, and wait another week for them to receive it. So we've got at least 2/3 more weeks before the real waiting continues. I see this as a pretty bad event, but I guess it's not a rejection.

We got our NOA2 approval today! July 24 NOA1. No RFEs. So not all July filers are getting RFEs.

Finding myself, as a 26 year old man, crying because I know this RFE is just a way to fool me and stall the process. There's no reason why they'd send out so many RFEs to July filers and not to December filers if they didn't just want to mark our files as looked at on a computer so that they can claim that they've been processing many petitions.

I would't read that much into that...I've seen plenty of Dec RFE's from the WAC#'s....around 40% of the approved when I counted.

Can those who've received an RFE give me an example of the sort of evidence they requested? I cannot for the life of me think of a single thing we might have missed.
