Hi everyone! I have question: I`m naturalized US citizen for over 2 years. In my N-400 I did NOT mention my previous marriages (I was married in 1990-s, we never lived together); however I had one. I got approved. In about 5-6 month I`m planning to marry a foreign woman (from Russia). I dont want to mention my previous foreign marriage because I already mentioned that I was never married in my naturaliZATION application.

My question is - Does USCIS check FOREIGN MARITAL STATUSES ? Since I did not mention this fact on my naturalization application, I assume I should not mention it on my I-130, too? - because the information on all immigration forms should be consistent..

Any advice?

In some instances, yes, they do, and if they find out that you lied on your naturalization forms, you could get in some serious trouble. Normally misrepresentation like that results in a lifetime ban, but being that you're already a citizen, I'm not sure how it would go. They might strip you of your status and boot you out. Other members who are more knowledgeable will probably be able to give you some more specific advice, but considering what you did was illegal, I would feel uncomfortable giving you advice on continuing to lie, not to mention that it goes against VJ's TOS.

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.

A material misrepresentation can result in revocation of US Citizenship, deportation and a lifetime ban. Never lie on an immigration form or to an immigration official. Time to hire a qualified immigration attorney. You DO NOT have a do it yourself case.

This is very simple. If the information you provide on ANY document is found to be false then ANY benefit derived from that falsification can later be revoked at any time. Period.

Information about previous marriages (ALL previous marriages...that would be ALL previous marriages) is material to a new spousal visa. If the information you provde is false and it is discovered AT ANY POINT then any benefits dereived can be revoked and your wife deported.

Sleep well.

Yes, but the OP made false statements on their own forms when they immigrated and Naturalized, so they can have their citizenship revoked and be deported too, regardless of whether the new spouse ever immigrates.
