My wife will be giving birth to our baby just before we can complete the interview. Do they require the baby to get vaccinations before letting it go to the states? I'm not going to let them vaccinate my child because I know the dangers of it. Please no responses telling me how I need to vaccinate my child. It doesn't seem lawful for that to be mandatory. Anyways I was wondering if anyone has had experience with this and could let me know how I can get my newborn back to the states with me and my wife shortly after the birth. Thank you in advance

I'm not sure about babies being required for the visa, but your child would be required to receive vaccines before entering any school here.

Thank you for your answer but they are not required for schooling or anything else in the states. They are voluntary. http://www.vaclib.org/exemption.htm

I sure hope they do. Vaccines are one of the greatest achievements of modern medicine. They are the reason scenes like this are a thing of the past Iron%20Lungs.jpg

If your speaking of the religious exemption, only about half the states have it. Otherwise the child will need a documented medical waiver. And not even all states allow a medical waiver. I think there are 2 currently that do not.

It is better for the child to get vaccinated so as not to be exposed in diseases...our baby gets her vaccine shots from a private pediatrician and we keep a record of it just for reference when she goes to school in USA..now regarding your question on how can u bring baby to the states shortly after giving birth all you need to do is to go to the US Embassy in Manila to have a CRBA..here's the link for it.. http://manila.usembassy.gov/service/citizenship/first-time-report-of-birth-abroad7.html make sure u have all the necessary documents needed and proof of your relationship..we did ours july last year and we passed, the baby will be an automatic US citizen by birth..hope it helps!!
