Unfortunately I got my first traffic speeding ticket today. This is my first speeding ticket since I got my license 12 years. I have already applied for my citizenship. If I pay the fine then do I need to tell at the time of interview?

02/11/13: N-400 mailed to Lewisville, TX

02/12/13: N-400 delivered

02/15/13: Email from USCIS

02/15/13: Check cashed

02/21/13: NOA received (Priority Date: 02/12/13 )

02/23/13: FP notice recd

02/25/13: FP Done (Actual FP was scheduled on 03/14/2013. I did a walk-in)

04/01/13: Received YL to bring my DL to the interview

04/08/13: In line for Interviewing scheduling

04/09/13: Interview Scheduled

06/03/13: Interview Date

06/03/13: Interview Done (Passed)

06/07/13: Oath scheduling Que.

07/20/13: Oath Letter received

08/06/13: Oath Ceremony

XX/XX/13: Applied for Passport

XX/XX/13: Received Passport

Yeah just mention it, it's not a big deal at all. They don't usually ask to see paperwork on it but I'd take the ticket itself and proof of payment just in case.

holy #######.. you are so screwed right now.. nah, just kidding.. speeding tickets, if the fine is less than $500 should not matter.. if it was dui related, then you are totally, 100% screwed.. i had 3 speeding tickets (87mph, 95 mph 97mph),none dui , 2 in a span of 1 year going into my interview.. never declared on my application.. but told the io about it during interview.. passed.. good luck op

interview = august 2

oath taking = august 29
