Congratulations to everyone who has received an interview appointment for May! It's so nice to see good cut-off date movement for a change, although I feel sorry for all my fellow VSC filers who will be current but didn't get their NOA2 on time to be interviewed in May.

This could be the reason why there is a sudden leap in the VB. There are only few documentarily qualified for a visa number. But im praying that VSC will catch up.

just called NVC, got the standard "processing Dec 15th 2010" answer, i guess i'll have to wait a little longer as the Mumbai consulate is typically slower to get its case nos. assigned for interviews

Exactly - this is what I have been saying for a few months now, just didn't expect the Visa Office to start moving the cut-off dates so fast in May already.

I guess we all know what happens once the February-March filers complete their cases, but I am so happy about the PD movement right now that I don't want to think about it just yet!

I cant even call NVC coz my case is not with NVC.I will be adjusting my status here in US.

I updated this list, included some members and highlighted in RED those who already got their ILs. All you people here, dont stop calling the NVC. I'm telling you, all of those listed here have schedule already!

I don't think.. I called them twice however I just got the same answer that we are processing cases before 15th Dec 2010. The operators were super nice and friendly though.

There are people with PD around March-April who got their NOA2...

I know, and I am super happy about that too. It's just that these people will not complete their cases until later this month, and may only be scheduled for an interview in July or August. At that point the Visa Office may be forced to move the cut-off dates back to accommodate this new demand they haven't seen before.

I do hope that the VSC is aware of the situation and will keep on processing F2A cases at a steady speed from now on, allowing the Visa Office to have a realistic idea of the demand for visa numbers in the coming months.

Is there anyone with a PD after 14 April 2011 who has received an interview letter?
