Hello, I am the USC and my wife is the NRA, we are trying to be prepared and stay ahead of things, she is in the process of filling out the ds-230 form and has most of the documents needed for it. The question is does she send it in or does she sign it and send it to me and I send it in or do I just need acopy of it? I am in US and she is in the Philippines. I know I have to fill out the I864 and and aquire all the related documents for that and send it in when the time comes.

Thanks

Either one. She can send it to you and you can send it in OR she can send it in. It will probably get there faster if you send it and then you can send both NVC documents at the same time. She should keep a copy of it to take to the interview however and it is a good idea to email her a copy of your documents and forms so that she can print out and take as well. You do not need a copy.

Thank you very much NikiR, I will take your suggestion and send it in with my documents and send her a copy of mine.

Your wife signs the DS-230. She can mail it (together with the civil documents) directly to NVC using 2GO (UPS), FedEx, DHL or LBC. Saves time and money.

She should keep a copy of the DS-230 for herself and email a copy to you.
