hi,

we got recently married in my country i'm the foreign spouse (wife) my husband is the US petitionner living is USA,we are waiting for NOA2 for IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa,I do not know the answer to the following question:

do we have to register our marriage after my entry to US (when thez approve my visa)? or not ? should we remarry again there!

no you don't have to,but i did register my marriage certificate in the fl court house for publice records,i was given a letter with a state stamp and date that i cliped to my marriagecertificate,like i said you don;t have to,its up to you.

you registered ur marriage certificate in fl court house after your marriage in USA (marriage done in Usa)? or you have been married in your home country?

no i was married in colombia my marriagecertificate is colombian it was sent to bogota to get it registered , and in the us florida my local court house had it registered 65.00 fee for publice records in was stamped and dated to my colombian marriage certificate,i had it done. it's not manatory.

You do not have to register your marriage here in the states. You may want to consider taking your marriage certificate to the local courts though. They can keep a copy on file in case you need a "certified" copy for anything in the future. There is a fee for the service and it varies depending on where you are.
