hello everybody,

we just recieved our rfe in mail. I am scared. I want our response to be very satisfactory for them I dont want to recieve another rfe.

they request couple of papers which are in possission, no worries. But what worries me is they asked for more evidence we met in person like:

- airline ticket stub (sent it before, sending a copy again)

-undated photos (sending photos again with date and place written on the back of each photo ) they asked for film dated photos, but we dont have. is it ok to write the information on the back by hand?

-passport pages showing addmission and departure stamps(sending as required but the stamps are in arabic and the date of addmission is according to arabic calender) do we need to translate this page that contains the stamp via a certified translator and then write a note with the equavalent date?

We are also thinking about sending a letter from my fiance's employer about the vacation.

tnks alot . .

Yes I would ask a translator do a quick translation into english of the arrival and departure dates in your passport. Have the translator certify that that it is true and accurate. There are a few VJ members who can provide such translation service for a small fee. Lets hope someone step up to help in this regard. Otherwise, you can find firms who do such service online.

Other than this it looks like you got everything in hand to overturn the RFE and get your case approved. Good luck!

Well,

If you already sent the airline ticket stubs, you can send them again, they might have gotten lost, or they might just not be enough.

For the pictures- theyre asking for film dated pictures. Youre sending undated pictures. Writing your own date on the back is kind of the same but not really. By chance did you post the pictures anywhere? Like on Facebook? That gives them a date stamp. You can send the pictures and a page stating - vacation pictures are posted here- x link. they'll be able to pull it up and see you posted something on that date from that location. It could be a picture or even a comment that says Im here in X country with my BF. Thats proof of a visit.

For the passport. I really dont think you need to translate the stamps. You do need to send a copy of the entire passport though, even the blank pages. It could be why you got the RFE. Whosever looking at it is just being an *ss. They want to see that the pages did come from your passport and not someone elses, so they want to see each page of your passport, even the blank ones.

Statements from an employer or friends or family who can attest to your meeting or vacationing is also a good idea. While it wasnt on the list, its good evidence of proof of meeting.

Hey not sure if you mentioned this already but did u send in letter of intent to marry one from you and one from fiance, signed and dated? I know someone who was asked for more evidence and had to provide that ?

Also not sure if it will help , but we put all our information written by pen in back of our pictures.

Send this in, it shows you were in the same place at the same time, with profesional pictures as proof. send everything you can, because you won't get a second chance for this RFE.If they still think there is not enough evidence they will deny, and not request more information. Good luck, I'm sure you will have enough proof.

I agree to all suggestions, see what others have sent and you should be fine. They are looking for more evidence, how about other receipts/photos from your trip not provided the first time?

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

we are trying to search for reciepts we didnt know they were important. yes, there are more photos which we are sending. My fiance stayed in a furnished unit and didnt stay in a hotel because it was more closer to my family home. sadly, they didnt give him receipt of his stay and obviously he forgot to request it. we called them today but the receiptionist said it is no way we can get any proof it has been along time (almost six months) anyways We will try to speak to the manager. maybe he can help us.

I agree with everything above. here are additional suggestions:

Did any of you get a visa to visit the other one? the copy of the visa is a good thing to add.

Did your fiancé buy anything using his credit cards? If yes, can he find his monthly bank transcript from this time, make a copy highlighting the lines concerning the expenses of when he visited you?

Your photos are not numeric? if they are, there is usually a way to be able to print dated photos (maybe you should ask a photographer about that. I bet they know and would be able to print out the photos with the dates on them). This can also be good to send pictures with not just the two of you on it, but familly too, as it shows other people have seen you together.

For tickets, did you send them copies of the boarding passes or just e-tickets? If you just send e-tickets, you can add the copy of the boarding passes if you can find them. If you just sent boarding passes, send copy of e-tickets too. (in addition to the copy of what you already sent of course)

send everything you can, because you won't get a second chance for this RFE.

I would agree with this, load it, send everything you can find.

Good luck good.gif

Good luck in your visa journey!

From the day we sent I-129F to the day I recieved my K-1: Exactly 9 months
