I never said schools have to teach students about God. Those values are learnt at home. Its the parents´job to teach their kids not the school. Thats my whole point. As far as proof of God stopping violence, remember he gave us all free will. Its not Him who we have to blame for violence as everyone can choose right from wrong. So it depends on us to create good, law abiding kids.

You can create good, law abiding kids without God.

So God is not to blame for violence, but God would get the credit if we taught his word and the violence doesn't happen? God has a pretty good thing going if that's the case.

The 2nd time I went to Ontario to visit my wife, we made our way to Toronto for dinner at a sports bar, the Maple Leafs were playing the Canadiens that night and I was wearing a Bruins sweatshirt. Needless to say the Canuckleheads had a good time with me.

The area we were in wasn't too bad, southern part of Toronto/Missisauga. We had fun, mostly at my expense, but it was good.

I read some amazing words written on a post in a page devoted to the sandy school victims and it said "We do not need more control in guns, we need to reintroduce God and His Law in our families to avoid this. Evil is around and the only weapon we have against it is His Word and being able to teach our kids to follow them"

Frankly, I think we need to reintroduce people's ancestral pre-Christian religions, but then again I have a problem with a religion that basically thinks women are incapable of spiritual and religious leadership when our ancestors thought they were quite closely in tune and critically important.

I used to have to drive there from Montreal. Seemed like I was back to the U.S. but I didn't have to show a passport.
