I am appearing for a citizenship interview in next few days in Chicago IL. If the immigration officer asks question like this, Name your US Representative, how many representatives names I should remember.

In state of Illinois, there are 18 Representatives.

while there are 18 reps in your state, theyre not all 'your' reps. Try using this site -http://whoismyrepresentative.com/home

enter your zip on the first page and then on the next page enter your zip + 4, It will show you who is YOUR rep based on your address.

(Also check out the directory of representatives- http://www.house.gov/representatives/#state_id, it seems there are currently 17 reps in IL, as one seat is vacant, someone resigned in Nov 2012.)

Have you looked at the Q&A on the USCIS site? Usually the question will specify how many you need to know "Name 3 of the original states" for example.
