*** Moving from Off Topic to CR-1 spousal forum ****

Yes you can, Co-sponsors are allowed for spousal visas in Phils, it is just for K1 fiance visas they are not usually allowed.

Are you a US citizen or a Green Card Holder?

Waiting times vary depending on your status.

Yes, you can get a joint sponsor if your income from your seasonal work is below the income poverty requirement.

Hello everyone. I have a question. I am 19 years old now. I just started working last year (sept) as a seasonal worker. So that means I dont have stable job right now, i haven't tried filing income taxes yet. My boyfriend and I are planing to get married in the Philippines this dec. Then after we get married I am gonna file my petition for him as soon as we get the marriage cer. I am a us citizen already. My question is, is the uscis gonna allow me to petition him even though i dont have a stable job? I'm gonna file my itr this year but its not enough because its just seasonal work. BUT I talked to my stepdad already who used to be my petitioner to be my co-sponsor. Do you think that will work? Thanku everyone..

You'll need a cosponsor that reaches the minimal financial requirements in the AOS stage of the process, but that's with NVC, not USCIS. I don't have a stable job either, and so far no problems. Don't think it's a big deal as long as you have a solid cosponsor.

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.

My co-sponsor is a retired navy and right now he is working with 25/hr job. So I think he can reach the minimal financial requirements. Really? Did you file your petition already? How was it? Thanks for the reply :)
