Hi, I applied I-130 for my husband. My case is already completed with NVC and now waiting for my husband interview date. I would like to know that is it possible to travel once my husband gets his visa interview date. Should I go with him at Mumbai for his visa call? I need a right suggestions. Thank you.

sorry, who wants to travel, and to where?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Mumbai don't allow anybody inside during interview except for applicant (your husband). you may go but you have to wait outside consulate.

Once your husband has his passport back he can travel. I do not know if that consulate gives you back your passport right away or sends it to you. In Canada it is sent to you after the interview and can take a few days to a month without AP. But do not make travel plans for your husband until he has the passport in his hands. You can travel over there of course.

If you want to go, you can but can not attend interview with him. You have to wait outside.

And also, your husband can mention it to consulate officer that the petitioner is outside waiting.

Your presence there does make a big difference if you have any RED FLAGS and your case is border line (getting visa or not getting visa and put in AP)

Good luck
