Im sorry I know this isnt about immigration but I love all those posts with the tickertag at the bottom and I have tried to create mine but it doesnt seem to add up right :( I put in the date as 27 march 2006 as the day we sent our K1 app. and would like to count the number of days it takes to get the visa and well it keeps saying 6 days have passed but actually it has only been 3days ( well today is day 3). Can anyone help?

8 May 2006: File Sent to NVC (as stated on email dated 9 May)

24 May 2006: NVC sends our file to London Embassy

8 June 2006: Packet 3 arrives (DAY 101)

25 August 2006: Pack 3 sent to London Embassy registered post

29 August 2006: London Embassy receives my Pack 3 - 9/9/06 pack 4 arrives

SEPT 2006:APPLICATION PUT ON HOLD - WE HAD A FALLING OUT.

MAY 2007:RESUMED THE VISA APPLICATION

6 June 2007: Medical @ 2.30pm - need to get anew GP letter and psychiatric evaluation

7 June 2007: INTERVIEW @ 10am - waiting for new police record letter

3 July 2007: APPROVED/Visa arrives

i tried setting up a tickertag as well, but it also didn't add up right... neither did it set up the ticker and background i wanted.

maybe it's screwed up because February only has 28 days and something in their programming/coding doesn't account for this? just an assumption. that, or the service is 'broken'.

Good point! I was going go try to make one but the confirmation email for my account didn't come :P

I used a tickertag for something else and all I did was change the day of start to make the days work out correct.

Nope it still dont work - I have come to the conclusion that its cuz there are 28 days in Feb this year, it messes the calcs up but no worries ive marked there at the bottom "minus 2 days" its cool - so this is now the end of the thread LOL :)

Yes I would like to add a tickertag, but I am unsure of how or where to put it . I am new to this site and don't know much about it. I can't get my pictures to upload either. I dont' know what I am doing wrong. I tried but it just isn't working for me. :blush: I would appreciate any help with this matter that anyone can give me. Thanks, Chery

To upload a picture; Click on Gallery above, then click on "upload pics" in top right hand corner. Then you can choose Browse, which will let you browse your computer for the pic you want to upload. There are instructions the rest of the way then :) Maybe your pics are too big? I usually shrink mine in Paint.

I'm sure some-one else will hop on and give much better directions than mine!! but it should get you off to a running start! I was completely clueless too when I joined this site, so if I can do it...so can you!! :)

to use a tickertag on the bottom of your posts you will have to put it in the signature. Click on "My controls" and then on "edit signature" and then you can copy and paste the link they give you on tickertag. At least that's how it works on daisypath.com which I used

Your pictures have to be tiny-winy so they might just be too big. Make them smaller using Paint or any other editing software.
