Hello,

Last year I got married to my ex-wife in Feb 08th 2012. about a month later, she and her family starts to threaten me and abuse me verbally. I decided to get divorce with her as it had gone out of hand. Sometimes in June 2012, I have run into my current Fiance who is also a US citizen based on naturalization. We plan to get married in June 2013.

will there be any issue for our 2nd marriage green card process?

More info: My ex wife didn't file any immigration petition because the marriage didn't seem to work out.

My ex-wife refuses to file any forms, taxes..etc in order to get control over me. What I had was joint bank accounts, some photos throughout the 2 years dating ( I throw most of them away because I dont think I ever need it) and friends' affadavit. Do you think that is enough to prove the first marriage?

That would depend.

A good friend of mine had a simmilar issue, he was married before and they began the immigration process. She cheated on him and got pregnant with a nother mans baby and he divorced her, he called immigration and told them the situation and canceled his process. He was a student so he was still ok status wise. He got remarried again a year later and began the process again. He just included the reasoning for the termination of his previous marriage in a letter, gave them his old case # and it was fine....they didnt even question it until his interview and they were very pleased with how diligent he was with providing the information of his previous marriage and it didnt affect him at all.

You should be ok, just be honest with them and explain what happened the first time!

Our love began in 2010....our Journey in 2012 (January) and now we are at peace until 2014!

--June 2012-- we hired a lawyer and got a sponsor, got the I-290B Motion to Appeal or Reopen had everything sent off by the end of July 2012.

--October 2012-- Work permit sent-- got SSN

--November 26th, 2012-- AOS interview-- Got sent out told to get a translator and new interview date would be sent. :(

Are you in the US right now?

If so what visa did you enter on?
