Hi everyone,

I have a question in regards to the medical...but a brief background, my petition is for spousal visa and im currently in the Phil...my query goes this way...going to the medical exam, what am I suppose to do if I don't have a record of my vaccines anymore and couldn't get it...I know though that my vaccination record goes from way, way back and no recent one. Am I still allowed to go thru the medical exam without my record or it is really a "MUST" to have my record?

Any feed backs and additional information is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Mayang

It is a must.

Your alternate option would be to have the test done that checks for the antibodies in your system.

What happens if you don't have it?

I don't know. I would assume it will result in you forking over extra cash to the medical doctor, though.

Many people who attend the medical at St. Luke's don't have a vaccination history. In a number of cases they review the history and still give vaccines anyway as there are sometimes concerns about how the original vaccines were administered.

Don't worry about it, just go to the medical and they will determine which vaccines are needed.

Good luck!

My hubby's records were destroyed in the war, but he was able to get them reconstructed through the help of his doctor. But this is allowed at the Skopje, Macedonia embassy, we read it on the website under "Vaccination Requirements". Maybe check the website for your embassy?

You don't need to track down your vaccination records. You can go through with the medical exam. SLEC will decide what vaccines to give you. You don't have to pay additional fees for the vaccines because it's already INCLUDED in the medical fee.
