For what is worth, We didn't have an interview (filed AOS early Dec 2011), We got e-mail of approval (followed by a paper notice) around early June 2012, GC showed up a week later. But in the midst, sometime in Feb-March 2012, our paperwork was transferred to California, supposedly for 'faster' processing. I did call the service center around mid April and insisted to get a 2nd tier to enter an inquiry. Called again month later; next thing we get the approval notice.

If the same times are applicable, you would see yours around March-April this year, maybe with no interview....

Thank you Gosia, I am taking your advice. Is there any way to get to 2nd tier ?

supposedly, you simply ask for an ISO..

see ISO - http://www.dhs.gov/files/publications/gc_1305658440339.shtm

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thank you Gosia, I am taking your advice. Is there any way to get to 2nd tier ?

As Darnell (post just before this), ask for it. However, bit of advice:

- be ready for a long on hold, I got a headset just so I can be doing other things while I got connected to a person

- being extra nice with the initial person taking the call and the 2nd tier will get you really far,

these people get screamed and yelled at probably every call, my approach of being nice worked every time. Even when they would say things such as 'normal processing times' when I knew not the case, or when they would say my petition later and to call in 90 days; I did not argue or explode, just had the official VSC site processing times, the dates of our NOA1, etc; and "proved" to them (and they could verify all that in their own system) that they -VSC- had to do something.

- have paper/pencil ready and take notes, if there is a follow up call, is actually useful to cite textual info form a prior call, also, they might enter an inquiry and you need to take reference number and when to call back, as well as any other important info.

- if you are calling on behalf of your spouse (the beneficiary), make sure spouse is there because they need to verify by talking to spouse, that you can talk on spouse behalf. Every call we had I spoke on behalf of my wife (I am the USC), I just know the terminology better and I'm used to talk to customer service reps and get things (see the tip about being extra nice above)

- if you speak Spanish or know someone who does, I believe you can get to a person relatively faster. The Spanish reps do speak English (well most do as far as i can tell), so once you get to a person, you can switch to English. I actually did this trick in every call.

Good luck!
