My fiance was interviewed today and he was denied due to 212(g). Our documentation is being sent back to USCIS. We can't understand why, due to the very vague excuse, no specific reason, no request for additional information.

What happened? We've been in a relationship for two years. We submitted two years of genuine proof, pounds and pounds of documents! Everything and then some. We were so confident because we know our hearts, we were honest, open and are absolutely devastated as our our families and friends who have witnessed and supported our choice to maintain this type of relationship.

Please, are we dead in the water? Whats going to happen to us now? Will we have an opportunity to rebutt her erroneous decision? We are crushed...

Am sorry to hear that. It's never over so don't lose faith. What questions did they ask? Was all the questions answered correctly?

You can call your local Congressional offices and see if they can get a more detailed reason as to why. It is in your best interest to get rolling with the calls for help before the petition is returned back to the United States. If they can ask for and get a second interview, this is what you should do, in my opinion. Some countries go through an automatic denial to make you wait it out, get married or reapply. But you will still need to address the issue they have with the relationship or paperwork. Good luck!

Go online and find the congressmans name for your area you live in. Download the online form. Tell him you need a congressional inquiry ASAP.

Just give the facts-NO emotions.

Together for 2 years.

Interview in Ghana today

Sent back to uscis.

Ask him to ask what basis it is being returned.

Contact the embassy and ask for the file to stay at the embassy until you can come there with him for another interview.

Were you there this time?

Call the embassy and ask what basis they want to return the petition for? Ask on the phone for another interview. Ask if you can send more proof. Ask what proof they want you to fax?

Good Luck
