Comments : He arrived mid-afternoon with a nearly 4 hour layover. It was very busy. He pointed out the mistake on his visa and asked them to correct it, they wouldn't, stating that since the Embassy gave him that visa they had to stand by their decision. Upon leaving customs he asked for directions to get to his next flight, he barely had time to make the connection. If not for an airport employee, he would have missed his next flight.

Embassy Review : I got to the embassy at around 6:30am, I waited under the tree for over 3 hours. Then I join the line by 10 am, I went through the first check point. There were three ladies sitting at that table. She collected my passport and letter and searched for my name, after she located my name, she then give me a slip paper to fill and I was asked to meet with the security. I went through three security check points and at the last point was where I picked a number which was a wild one, B419 I never notice the number at first until I sat down. That was when I looked at my number and it was B419, immediately remembering my wife did share a lady testimony to me about how she pick the same number and at the end of the day she was approve. I key myself into her testimony and claim my own approval also. I sat down at the interview room by 10:36 am. My name was call by a woman like 10 minutes after where I was asked to submit my passport and the slip I was given at the first entrance to fill, so I handed those over to her and she asked if I have my medical and police report? I said no, then she asked me to sit down.

The real interview started a while after. There were three CO's at the stand. Two ladies and one guy. The guy was black, and one of the other lady was black also. About 7 people were called before me, all were approved. Then the black lady called my name and the questions started.
You were here last year?
Where do you meet your wife?
What did you say to her?
Do you have tatoo on you?
Why will you have her face on your arm?
Do you have your medical and police report with you? I said no. Then she ask me to go and get my police report and medical and she handed over a form to me to fill out and that I should take to the address on the form immediately as I have them both. Then I ask her whats next after I get there? She replied they will tell me what to do.

I thank God because I know that the 5 years apart has come to an end. I give God all the glory because all of this can only be done by Him alone. The way He did it I have no idea but the good news is that He did it. Praise be His holy name and to you guys also on VJ. I know I don't come on the group much, yet you guys have been more than a friend to my wife and I. On behalf of my family I am saying a very big thanks to you all and I pray that any one of you out there that is still on the waiting line, The good Lord that we serve will see you through. IJN AMEN.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
