I'm confused. If I do a joint sponsor is it that the income of my joint sponsor has to be more than the income that NVC requires or is it that the income of both of us add up and have to be more than the required amount?

You can refer to this:

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=b70f8875d714d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextchannel=7d316c0b4c3bf110VgnVCM1000004718190aRCRD

A joint sponsor is someone who is willing to accept legal responsibility for supporting your family member with you. A joint sponsor must meet all the same requirements as you, except the joint sponsor does not need to be related to the immigrant. The joint sponsor (or the joint sponsor and his or her household) must reach the 125% income requirement alone. You cannot combine your income with that of a joint sponsor to meet the income requirement.

Thanks for that. Ok my spouse has an interviewnon feb5 so My 2011 income doesn't meet the requirement but my current employment which I have just started 3 months now does calculate to meet the requirement. Is it ok to present the 2011 tax papers along with a employment letter from my current job with pay stubs? Or do I need to have a joint sponsor??? Any clue???
