How many times do you "Check Visa Application Status" on the website per day

I used to check the USCIS website all the time. Now I'm checking https://ceac.state.gov/CEAC/ all the time. I am a "Check Status" junkie I started out going there once per day but now I'm up to morning noon and night. So I am wondering, do they update it on a regular basis? I keep looking for case complete, but it's still processing....

I was doing that too, until I got an email saying that my case was complete. Just for the heck of it, I checked the CEAC website and it still said Case Processing. I called NVC the other day to find out what date my case was completed on and it was Dec 27th. I had just been checking the website since before Christmas. It lead me astray! I say call them. Every day. I was calling 2-3 times a day before I found out about the website checking, but if I could do it over I would have kept calling them.

Even to this day, when I check onthe website, it still says "Processing Case"

I don't think so... I know EP cases get an email for case complete. On rare occasions, NON-EP cases get a case complete email.

I wasn't even aware of THIS particular page. I guess I will now obsess over it!

Mine says "non-immigrant visa" at the top of the box with the status though. Is that correct or a glitch? Am I misunderstanding? Isn't a CR1 an immigrant visa?

Mine too. I think they used the same form for everyone. Maybe it was too much trouble for the webmaster to build two of them

sell properties etc, until a visa has been issued by a general consulate"??

I received that email from NVC last January 3rd. Did you received the same email?

around 300 times per day. lol.

Case completed on December 20th, still waiting for the interview. They said the Consulate will schedule it.

I emailed them on January 3 to ask if our case is complete and no answer yet.
