We have been waiting for what seems like forever to start a new life in the US and for most of us, the waiting has become unbearable due to us getting older and cannot make any serious plans for our future. For those that their waiting has come to an end and now that you have reach your final destination, can you share with us a brief view of your new life and how you are adjusting there?

No it hasn't- for F1 (unmarried adult children of US citizens) priority, they are currently working on 22nd Dec 2005 for most countries, so OP's wait is almost up (or he still has 12 years to wait if from Mexico or 8 years if from the {Philippines).

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Hi friend, it seems like you have misunderstand my post. I already have an attorney on my case and everything is in place, I am just waiting on my priority date to be current which is taking a very long time in my category F1. I'm not sure if you understood the process. This thread is about F1's who wants to participate in their fellow members visa journey and members who would like to share there story with us.

Thank you for explaining to OP. I am from the carribbean, Jamaica. I was informed it took 7 years so I should be current this year.
