Hello,

the first time that we received a checklist from nvc on 6th Dec 2012. They are saying in checklist like:

"The NVC has received the requested Immigrant Visa Application (DS-230). However, we are still waiting for the Affidavit of Support form. Please submit the Affidavit of Support form according to the instructions on the Department of State website.

From there, you can fill out an Affidavit of Support form online, then print the completed form and mail it to NVC."

So anyone can say me like where i can get this form and may i need to submit both or only 1 (Which one 1st or 2nd)?

Make sure you pay first - ceac.state.gov/IV/Default. aspx

Once you pay the fee, they will send to the cover sheet with the barcode.

Fill out the form >: uscis.gov/files/form/i-864w. pdf

Print it out and sign it.

Now scan it and also make sure you add on that same scan batch the last 3 years of your tax returns.

Once you have the file, attach it to an email and send to NVCElectronic@state.gov

Make sure you put the NVC case number in the subject line.

AND This MUST be in the body as well:

Case Number:

Petitioner's Name & DOB:

Principal Applicant's Name & DOB:

This will complete the AOS.

I am assuming you are an IR-1/CR-1 filer as you posted your question here. You may download the Affidavit of Support form (I-864) from here: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=b70f8875d714d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextchannel=db029c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD

You may want to join this thread too, read posts 1 and 2 thoroughly: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/402383-nvc-filers-december-2012/

I don't know how you did your application, but the Affidavit of Support is usually submitted before the DS-230. Or together.

If my assumption is incorrect, just please disregard my comment. You may want to update your profile so people can respond accordingly.
