So, just thought I'd let people know. I was approved 10/12/06, not by email or web check at USCIS. I was told last week that my case had already been through NVC and was forwarded to the embassy. Yesterday, I was notified by email, 5 times, that my case was approved on 11/2/06 and I was sent the NOA2, again I guess they meant to say. Anyone else received anything like this?? Just wondering and glad to see CSC is as efficient as ever. :-)

PS Congrats to the newly approved.

It's amazing that some people are getting 2 approvals (which a lot have said on VJ) and stuff ups with the email and other people like me are just waiting for even a touch.....CSC is so inefficient makes me laugh. But it makes me happy that people are getting approved faster now. :D

Except that our first NOA2 was dated October 13, 2006, receiving the hard copy in the snail mail October 19, we got the exact same treatment. With 6 emails from USCIS yesterday indicating our case and been approved AGAIN on November 2, 2006...

I would gladly give away our second NOA2. We have no idea where our petition is right now. I emailed NVC today letting them know what had occurred and attempting to find out if they had received our petition after the first approval. No response yet, and nothing from NVC in the snail mail...

Well, in my case I am reasonably sure that my petition has been forwarded to the embassy as of Oct. 25. I received a reply email from NVC with their number as well as a snail mail letter from NVC that it was forwarded. I have get to hear from the embassy there, but I will be getting a hold of them this week. Unfortunately, for the last week and a half I have been suffering from a rare allergic reaction that was potentially life threatening which made this process seem not quite as important as I had thought. Well, I am now recovering and will be back to dealing with the process. I'm hoping the two approvals don't get my case confused in the future.
