VSC--August filer.CR1.When supposed to get NOA2?

I read some topics and learned VSC is still working on May14th.So i guess August filer,VSC center is supposed to get NOA2 on about March or April.I was wondering how many VSC--August filers here?So i don't have to wait alone.I told my hubby maybe it would take like about 8months to approve.He said it's ok.After 8months,We will be together forever.Mine sent to Chicago lockbox on August 8th.I would like to hear from VSC-August filers.seems We need more patient than other centers like csc ,NBC.thank you.

Hi I'm not an August filer but I wanted to share a tool with you that might be helpful.

On the USCIS website here you can get fairly current processing dates.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Service Center drop down box and choose your service center then click on "Service Center Processing Dates."

Look for the application type you filed and it will show the processing dates.

I looked up I-130 (Spouse of USC) for VSC and the processing time frame is May 21, 2012.

Your NOA-1 date is 2012-09-17

so is better chance you are with MSC and not VSC.

Suggest you call into USCIS, use a telephone, ask for an ISO

as

Most casefiles transferred to MSC have been approved within 90 days.

Oh.But we got text message and email comfirmation on August 16th.Just never recieved hard copy.We keep waiting and waiting.Nothing.So we called them.And got NOA1 in mail like about September 17th.I forgot the exactly date.But remember about a month later.Should we still call them?We both are busy.thanks.

If you received an NOA1 via email on 8/16, then that is your NOA1 date, not September.

You are on the cusp of the switch over (which was 8/15)

What was the actual delivery date of your packet? Assuming you tracked it?

I agree with Darnell, if you want to know where your stuff is and get a better idea of your time frame, call and speak to a tier 2 ISO and ask them.

This is accurate from what I can tell.

Is that truly right? I just filed and reading peoples post I was worried that it was going to take 7 mo just for the USCIS to approve my I-130. I got my Noa1 today (12/4 date) in the mail its at the NBC. Does that mean it might only take 3 mo to get an Noa2? I'm scared to hope for that, then be completely disappointed if it takes 6.

Then it's quite possible that you not get transferred to MSC.

Figure 6 months maybe 7.

If you get it prior, burn some joss.
