Are you under F2B category (Unmarried Sons and Daughters (21 years of age or older) of Permanent Residents)?

What is your Priority Date?

Current Priority Date being processed for Dec 2012 visa bulletin F2B INDIA is: 15 NOV 2004

We had been applied for by my father in the year 2006 from the California SC. the status has been post decision activity since the past 2 years. Can anyone please tell me what is the current year being processed to give me a rough idea of how long wouldn't take for our turn to come. Regards.

don't even bother going to the uscis website because there will be no change, the i130 is not at the uscis level since it was approved and sent to NVC or National Visa Center. you have to wait until your priority date becomes current. you still have a few years of waiting.

you have to check the visa bulletin every month

Married son/daughter over 21..

Recieved date is July 28,2006 priority date is blank..

Check your i-797 (Notice of Action). Your Priority Date is written there.

You are under the F3 category (Married Sons and Daughters of U.S. Citizens).

Current PD being processed for F3 India is: 08 JUN 2002 http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_5803.html

Q - I want to confirm the following for other categories -

Priority Date is when USCIS have sent you approval OR when they received the original petition?

Priority Date is approval date or when it was filed?
