Hello fellow Vj Members,

We got our NOA2 on Nov. 19, 2012 and my fiance called the USCIS on Nov. 30, 2012, saying that they received the packet. The USCIS gave my fiance our MNL case number.

Here are some of my concerns:

1. Can I have my medical exam even without the appointment letter from the US Embassy in Manila?

2. Can I have an appointment for the visa interview online (after paying the BPI)even I didn't receive any letter from the Embassy such as the packet 3 and packet 4?

I really need help!!!

Yes you can have your appointment interview even if u ddnt receive ur packet 3 & 4,this can be done online or by phone after paying at BPI but wait till noon b4 you can do it so that ur payment will be generated.I made my appointment online and it was hassle free. I tried calling the embassy twice but always busy. Then make sure you print the appointment letter (2 copies )coz u needed for your medical. It is always good to have ur medical 2 weeks ahead before your interview date so that in any case there will be problem on your medical results, you have enough time. You can do registration online for your medical in order for you to save time when u arrive at ST.LUKES.

Congrats! :)

1.) Most cases I've heard had their appointment letters being shown to the SLMCEC's guard. I think they will look for it.

2.) Yes. Better to pay your visa on the morning so you could manage to make an online appointment by afternoon. Packet 3 and 4 are not really necessary. Just present your NOA2 and your appointment letter during the interview in case they will look for it.

God bless and wish you the best. :)

Congrats on your Noa2 :))

1. yes you can as long as you have your case number already :)

2. yes, 6 hours after paying at BPI you can set an appointment online. No need to wait for those packets, just search what packet 3 and 4 all about :)

Goodluck!!!

So in this case fellow VJ members, I can pay the visa fee through BPI.

I have concerns in question NO. 1.

If there is no Appointment letter from the Embassy or Instruction letter from the National Visa Center, can I still have the medical exam?I am worried that I will go in St. Lukes Extension

Clinic, they will not allow me to have the medical exam because I don't have complete docs such as the two docs I've mentioned above..

Now that you have your MNL case number, you can pay your visa application fee at BPI.

When you schedule your Embassy interview online, you will print out two copies of your interview appointment confirmation. You will use one copy of your interview appointment confirmation to be admitted into St. Lukes for your medical.

Don't forget to pre-register on St. Lukes website for your medical. It will save time on the day of your medical.

Here is the Embassy's letter which tells you that you are eligible to schedule an interview and gives you interview preparation instructions: Link to USEM interview preparation instructions. Don't wait around for the Embassy to send you this letter because you could be waiting forever.

I really need help!!!

SLEC wants to see the confirmation page for scheduling your appointment - either from online or calling and waiting for them to mail you a confirmation letter. (read the requirements on the SLEC website)

There is NOT as packet 3 or 4 mailed out for K-1. Everything is done online.

Manila Embassy:

NOW THAT YOU HAVE YOUR MNL # (don't need to wait for the letter from the embassy )

(NOTE: When getting NSO certified copies of your Birth Certificate get 4 - 6 extra copies for bringing to the States with you. You will need them from time to time)

http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3023.html

Once you have your MNL # :

You can pay your nonimmigrant visa application fee with cash or debit card at any Bank of Philippine Islands. Before going to the bank, you must print the applicable U.S. visa application deposit slip available below on this page. Take the printed deposit slip with you to pay your fee. If you print a deposit slip in advance of the day in which you plan to make your payment, please take note of the expiration date on the deposit slip. If the expiration date passes prior to using the slip to make your payment, simply return to this site and re-click the appropriate link below to generate a new deposit slip. Bank agents will NOT accept payments based on expired deposit slips. Upon receiving of your payment, bank will issue you a receipt. Save your receipt. It cannot be replaced if it is lost. You will not be able to schedule an appointment without your receipt number.

http://ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-paymentinfo.asp

Select the deposit slip that matches your visa application fee from the list below. Values are shown in U.S. dollars and native currency. This page has more information about the different visa application fees.

http://ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-visafeeinfo.asp

For K-1 the fee is $240

After you have paid the visa application fee, keep the BANK receipt for your records. It cannot be replaced if it is lost. You will not be able to schedule an appointment without your receipt number.

If you have an account with either Bank of Philippine Islands (BPI) or BancNet you may choose to pay your visa application fee online using their online bill pay services. Click on either of the links below if you are a BPI or BancNet customer and wish to make an online payment.

If you are paying for more than one applicant, please DO NOT make a lump sum payment for all the applicants. A UID/receipt number is required for each visa application fee payment for EACH applicant for scheduling an appointment. After you have paid the visa application fee, please keep the fee receipt for your records.

Receipt Format

Note: If you have a Bank of Philippine Islands receipt, your fee receipt number should be your passport number. If something other than your passport number appears in the circled area on the graphic, use that information as your receipt number. This receipt number verifies your payment and allows you to schedule your visa interview

When scheduling online with the embassy you need to use the receipt number as shown on the payment receipt from BPI.

Priorty Date; this is the date the NOA 1 was accepted.

Make sure to print two copies of the interview confirmation page as you will need one for St. Luke's and the other (maybe, they might mail the interview letter) for the embassy.

Required documents & "OTHER DOCUMENTS" they ask for at CFO: copies of; CENOMAR, certified birth certificate, bio page of passport, visa page from passport, pictures together. From USC - bio page of passport, birth certificate, divorce decree (if been married before) are the most common requests. The "other documents" clause can be ANYTHING with those nit-wits at CFO.
