Is that why Dems are against an across the board flat tax?

I'm not against an across the board flat tax. I'd like that, actually. The first 15K or 20K or whatever we feel is the existential minimum (perhaps indexed by cost of living where one lives) are tax free and then you apply a flat tax of x% to ever dollar of income after that. No exceptions, no deductions, no loopholes. I'm all for it. Always have been. Won't happen, though. And not because Democrats don't want it but because the tax code that monied interests have purchased benefits them. They're not going to give that up.

I believe you chose a word incorrectly when you wrote, "least unattractive," i.e. most attractive. Big Dog's wife is Ethiopian. Of course he thinks African women are attractive.

Of course I agreed. You said that black women were voted to be the least unattractive. The least unattractive means they are the most attractive. Seeing that I married a black woman, why would I not agree that black women are attractive? Obviously I was attracted enough to one to marry her. Problems with the English language?

I believe you chose a word incorrectly when you wrote, "least unattractive," i.e. most attractive. Big Dog's wife is Ethiopian. Of course he thinks African women are attractive.

Alas, it seems there is opposition to flat tax on both sides.

I am an avid supporter of ending income tax altogether and implementing GST across the board, so everyone can be a taxpayer and contribute accordingly.
