she can still have a visit to the vet in the next few weeks . . .

Ha! I like that pic. That will be my house fairly soon. There have been gentleman callers which my bulldog has thoroughly enjoyed chasing off the premises. But as they say, when the bulldog's away..... luv.gif I'm kind of certain we'll be having little mew mews ...anybody want one?

This is the Mom.

Trying to figure out how to add a picture to a post without it being a URL

You can attach it as a thumbnail as I did below. You just "click to attach files" below your text box. If the pic is stored on your computer I think that's the only way to do it.....but I'm by no means an expert on this website.

I'm home alone for the first time in a month (dropped husband off at the airport this morning :( ), so I made a pizza, broke out the red wine and am watching crappy IFC films.

Awwww yisssss.

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

We're going to a birthday party. I asked him what I should wear, what level of dressy. He doesn't know, so I faff about with ideas. I really wanted to wear this cute dress I have, black lace over an ecru underdress, but it's cold tonight so I'll need tights. I wanted nude sheers, but all I could find were black sheers, which nobody wears any longer. I think I haven't worn a pair myself since 1998. I found nude sheer stockings, but I'd need to wear my garter belt, and I'm wearing tights to be warm, not to have breezes on my bum. So the dress is not an option. I've gone for a long sleeve black shirt with a deep v- neck, black mini (not too tight) and purple tights, with a very cute pair of heels. He kept telling me to hurry up, but when I finished getting ready, he was (and remains) passed out on the bed. wacko.gif

Should have gone with the black sheers. I wore them yesterday.

Perhaps I have no fashion sense.

FAWK.

I try to stay hip to the hyper-feminism, but I guess I'll stick to the Lena Dunham look for now.

idk do you get fashion advice from kpop stars that look like your avatar?

those chicks will steer you wrong sometimes.

everyone laughed when i wore a dress made of chip bags.

I'm white, boring and shop at Modcloth. Kpop is just for funsies since I lived there and enjoy whipping out dance moves when I'm hammered.

See if you have a Freecycle in your area - that might solve both the old sofa problem and get you a new one - or just exchange problems :P

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
