We are made of meat too ... doesnt mean we go around eating each other do we?!?

P.S - Good on all the vegans for truly having a consience about not wanting to eat dead animals, and also not getting cancer and stuff .... you dont see many vegans with cancer do you? Meat is not only murder, but eating it is murder for yourself!

But the number of vegans who have cancer is also larger than ZERO--so doesn't add up.

Notably, the organisation that would generally claim to be the biggest promoter of veganism (no prizes for guessing that it's PETA, whose #1 membership criterion seems to be an ABSOLUTE LACK OF ETHICS) five years ago claimed it was OK to eat whale meat.

Also, the fact that most primates (including humans) are actually designed for OMNIvorous diet (medium-long GI tract, but cannot digest cellulose) rather than purely carnivorous (short GI tract) or herbivorous (very long GI tract, generally CAN digest cellulose).

Also notable is that small children fed entirely on vegan/macrobiotic diets have a higher rate of nutritional deficiencies for comparable income/social status.
