Hello All,

At the moment we are in the process of the K1 VISA and it's not yet completed however my fiancée is curious if we were to marry in the United States but wanted to have a honeymoon outside the country.

Is it possible?

Is there any fee's or forms we must complete and is there a high approval rate for those?

You can apply for advance parole together with your adjustment of status application after your marriage. Mine only takes close to 2 months. I think it is 360usd for the advance parole.

If you are filing Form I-131 Application Type B or D,you filed a Form I-485 on/after July 30, 2007 with a fee, and the Form I-485 is still pending, then no additional fee is due for Form I-131.

I believe K-1 visa is just a single entry to United States. You need to apply for AOS and advance parole if you need to travel out of United States.

You cannot honeymoon outside the US unless you plan your honeymoon to be a few months after your wedding. After you get married, your wife will need to file for adjustment of status. http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3aos

She will file for her employment authorization document(EAD) and advance parole(AP) at that time. The fees for those forms are waived when filing with the I-485 to adjust status. The EAD/AP takes 2-3 months to receive after filing. She cannot leave and re-enter the US without having AP or her green card first. If she does, she will abandon her AOS and you will have to start over with a spousal visa in order to get her back into the US.

Perfectly explained by Jay Jay. To get out of the country you will need to have your Advance Parole or your Green Card approved. So, after the wedding, you will have to start with the AOS process.
