Hi All!!

Is It Okey To Have The Medical Get Done Without NOA2 being Approved Yet!!! I'm In South Korea Right Now, And I Go With My Friend To Accompnay her for Her Medical Today. While I Was At There I Tried Asking The Staff If It's Ok To get Medical Without My Packet 3 In hand Yet And They Said Its Ok Because Medical is Good For 1 Year? Any One can help or Any Opinion About This? Will The Embassy Deny My Visa If I get Medical Ahead Without The Packet 3 yet? Advice Is Very Much Aprreciated......:yes:

Two things:

As they say medical results are good for 1 year.

1) If for some reason visa interview is delayed for a long time due to tie up at USCIS, NVC, or Consulate by a name check, the medical may expire.

2) When it comes time to do AOS you may have to do another medical due to the one from Korea being expired.

It is best to do the medical closer to the interview than too early.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

My fiance is in Korea and she did her medical before the embassy received her case. It's real easy...I scheduled her appointment on a Friday for Monday morning and then she was home by 2 PM. It's a fairly easy process. I'd recommend having it done once your case leaves NVC after it is approved.

Exactly... what's your rush.. do the medical when you're required to do so...

As long as you are understanding of the limitations of doing your medical early and you still desire to do it.... then why not.....

YMMV

You should check the U.S. embassy web site for South Korea. In some embassies they do not allow the physical until the embassy case number has been assigned and they require the medical to be sealed for the interview. The best course of action is to understand what the requirements are of the U.S. embassy in your country.
