FINALLY APPROVED TODAY! Our congressman has called every week for the past month. After calling last week they said okay we will expedite the case now. 6 months and 6 days of waiting, so HAPPY and relieved to be done with the VSC!

Six months today, I'm starting to obsessively check the USCIS website and I feel like I am creeping on the mailman

6 months 6 days here too (CSC) with everyone around me already approved. Crying. Maybe I try congressman next week, since I don't see what else I can do.

still no approval here after 6 months and 1 day. we've contacted my congressman so hopefully that will help :-/

I suggest you contact them one at a time. Be firm yet polite if they give you the same BS USCIS is. Explain that you know they are working on some January petitions and just want to know why and when your case will be looked at. Explain that you have waited X months and X days, while others are being approved in <5months. Remember to also explain that USCIS dates online are outdated if they bring that up. (look at the update date on the website)

I've just composed a letter and the "request form" to my senator. Faxing it tomorrow morning first thing. I cannot bear this any more, seeing FEBRUARY people approved made me fly into an absolute rage of tears and anger.

Does anyone know if California senators Feinstein or Boxer respond better/quicker? I'm going with Feinstein first because I've always liked her, but I may just bite the bullet and contact both of them at once, and maybe my house rep too, so sick of this.

I was going to contact my congress critters this month, but I am giving it to the end of this month. But I am with you. Seeing Dec, Jan and Feb folks going before me is starting to aggravate me.

NOA1 Nov 16th and still waiting for any sign of them touching our case. Getting very anxious as most cases around ours (ours is Vermont and ends in 9592) have received RFE's in the past few days. It has been a long 181 days and the next steps seem long as well. A little envious of the Jan/Feb filers at CSC who are getting such quick approvals.
