hello my fellow november filers,

it has been some time since i last checked in and checked on the posts of other members and for that i do apologize.

i just wanted to update my status - i called the NVC and requested an update on my wife's case and the customer service rep told me that my wife's case was closed today and just waiting for a an appointment to be scheduled at the US Embassy in Manila. that's a sigh of relief hehehe...

i'd better tell my wife to prepare a trip soon to Manila so she can get her medical examination done.

for those who are still waiting, please remain strong. for those who have theirs at NVC, it moves fast believe it or not (as long as all your paperwork is in order).

170 days since noa1 I'll put in for a service request in 10 days or maybe a info pass. Anyone recommend one over the other?

i did a service request but it took two months before i got a response.

why not do both?! you've got nothing to lose...

Still waiting to get approve, even after i went for my USCIS interview... I have a question my Husband and I are going to the Miami and Bahamas for vacation and do we need to show proof of anything in order for him to come and show he won't stay in the USA illegally?

Absolutely! If he doesn't show proof of strong ties to his home country, they may not let him in at the POE. He'll have to convince the customs officer that he'll be returning to France after his vacation is over.

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.

By searching for them online.

Then finding their website.

And there is typically a contact page there.
